Renee Altrov, A Child in My Adult Body
This exhibition was produced as part of Artproof Estonian Grant.
Photographer Renee Altrov searches ways to get rid of the emotional reactions, which emerge when he is in contact with day to day things. One of his favorite things in his childhood was to disassemble different objects. The acquired experience teaches him how objects, after having lost their initial function, tend to force you to look at them with a new pair of eyes when they lose their everyday purpose. The object transforms into a new and pure thing, just like looking through the eyes of a child.
